How to get a Long Battery Life in Samsung Galaxy S3?


With people starting and finishing each task with smart tech devices and the latest set of mobile phones, it is an obvious fact that the staying power or battery would exhaust up early.  Samsung Galaxy S3 is regarded as most selling gadget of the year comprises more of more apps and helpful features designed to make everybody’s life easier and faster.

Yet, we can’t deny that Samsung Galaxy S3 comes loaded with 2100mAh of battery and it is good enough to use the Smartphone for the whole day but not for weeks . Devices with large screen would surely face low battery signal large number of times as compared to devices with small screen. Moreover, the life of the battery is completely depends on how you use your mobile.

However, there are a few tips and tricks through which the battery can be made to work for more hours :-

1.    Turn Off Apps and Features that are Not Needed-  it is advised to turn off all those applications and software’s that are currently not in use. For example, turn off the Bluetooth power if not required. Close the GPS function, mobile hotspot, 3G, Wi-fi and location services apps if not using.

2.    Stop Considering Live Wallpaper for Home Screen- Yet, live wallpaper helps your phone looks more beautiful and trendy but it eats more battery as compared to static wallpapers.  Try to use dark wallpaper if possible.

3.    Bring Brightness Setting to Lowest Point –  if you will bring screen brightness to the lowest possible degree then you can able to save your phone’s battery to a large extent.

4.    Remove Unused Widgets Wisely -  if your home screen houses widgets or icons that are rarely used then clears them off.

5.    Customize your Display Color Profile – use black background display instead of white color. There are some color profiles that consumes less battery. The black color profile is among those profiles.  You can alter the display color profile by going through the settings->display-> screen mode.

6.    Low Down Screen Timeout Interval – if often happens that when you are away from your phone, the screen continues to light up for a number of hours. It is advisable to reduce screen timeout period in order to save more battery. 

7.    Put Off all Radios if not Using – radios like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are ought to be disabled if they are not in use.
